The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented and motivated Proposals Content Writer to join our team and support our commitment to transforming educational outcomes. In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation, writing, and submission of Request for Proposals (RFPs), including multi-vendor awards. Your work will focus on crafting clear, persuasive, and strategic proposals that communicate our value to potential clients. This position is essential in helping us secure new projects and grow our impact.
You'll report directly to the Director of Business Development and work closely with key stakeholders to ensure all proposals are aligned with our strategic goals.
What You'll Do:
Prepare and draft comprehensive RFPs for multi-vendor awards, including pricing, ensuring all requirements are met.
Develop proposals that clearly outline the scope of work and demonstrate how our solutions meet client needs.
Customize RFP templates based on the unique needs of each project.
Organize tasks, timelines, and contributors to ensure timely and smooth submission of proposals.
Content Collaboration & Strategy
Work closely with executive sponsors to craft a cohesive and strategic vision for each proposal. Draft 80% of the material independently, while incorporating feedback to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Review and copy-edit all RFP content to ensure clarity and compliance with client guidelines.
Submit thoughtful questions to the RFP procurement officer to clarify any requirements or uncertainties.
Compliance & Submission
Ensure all content is compliant with RFP specifications, reducing the risk of disqualification.
Package and submit all RFP components, ensuring formatting is correct and submission guidelines are followed.
Additional Duties
Assist with other writing and proposal-related tasks as needed to support organizational objectives.

What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Communications, Marketing, English, or related field
2-4 years of experience in content writing, RFP writing, or proposal coordination
Experience with state or federal procurement processes and multi-vendor RFPs (a plus)
Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple RFPs simultaneously
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with great attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration across teams
Compensation Range:
$80,000 - $100,000 annually
