Job Description

This position is a long-term contract position - on site in SHELTON Connecticut -

Desirable Experience

• Proficiency in test automation tools like Selenium , and tSQLt or other SQL Server Automation Testing Tools.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and experience working in Agile teams.
• Experience in manual testing, exploratory testing, and risk-based testing approaches.

Minimum experience level: 5+ years of relevant experience

Requirements

• Test Plan Development: Develop, maintain, and execute test plans in both a manual and automated fashion using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure thorough coverage of test cases.
• Early and Continuous Involvement: Actively participate in planning sessions and help define requirements.
• Collaborative Testing: Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide input on design, and develop comprehensive test plans and strategies.
• Iterative Testing: Execute manual and automated tests concurrently with development.
• End-to-End Testing: Conduct integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and other end-to-end testing activities to validate the product's readiness for release.
• SQL Experience: Utilize SQL skills to perform database testing and validate the results of backend processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Living Documentation: Maintain and update test documentation, ensuring it remains relevant and accurate throughout the project lifecycle.
