Job Title: Refrigeration Project Engineer Job Location: Remote (All remote work must be performed within the United States.) Job Type: Permanent/Direct Hire Compensation: $90,000- 120,000 (annually) with an employee benefits package and possible bonus opportunity. The benefits include 75% employer-paid healthcare, 401K match, and employee stock options after 1 year.
General Job Description: As a Senior Engineer, you will provide clients with expert refrigeration engineering services and manage projects from the business development stages to the development of construction documents and construction administration
You will lead refrigeration engineering efforts, coordinating with internal and external teams to deliver high-quality projects
This role requires strong communication, management, and leadership skills, as you will concurrently manage multiple projects, including the company’s most complex ones, ensuring their successful execution and delivery.
Job Requirements: - Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 7 + years of experience working as a Refrigeration Engineer, including the design and analysis of complex refrigeration systems, including Distribution Centers, Ammonia Refrigeration systems, and CO2 Refrigeration systems
- 2 + years of Project management experience, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting
- Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, or current mechanical engineering software
- Proven personnel management skills, leadership qualities, and effective mentoring capabilities as well as strong and effective decision-making, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Smartsheet and Deltek Ajera software is a plus
