Role : SAP Basis and HANA Administrator

Location : San Jose, CA (Hybrid)

Duration : Long Term - Contract

NOTE: Only Locals to California.

Job Description:

Must to have:

1. Demonstrated through 7+ years of experience as an SAP Basis HANA Administrator ( Application and Database) administering SAP HANA and S/4 HANA landscapes.
2. Prior experience in ECC to Hana migration is important

Good to have :

1. Scripting knowledge who could automate
2. SQL modelling exp.
3. SAP Basis- Core strength : Installation, upgrades, Hana Db, performance tuning of Hana db, SAP apps
4. SQL Programming knowledge - working on Group currency Program, SAP Archiving , transport management, regular day to day support for the S4H program.

JD in details:

1. Deep knowledge of SAP Basis tasks: technical planning, installations and configurations (SAP S/4 HANA, FIORI, SLT, SOLMAN, SAP Router…), upgrades, OS/DB migrations, Unicode conversions for SAP NetWeaver platform, SSO configuration, installation of SSL certificates. familiar with BRTOOLS for Space management.
2. Hands on experience of implementation and conversion for S/4HANA solutions.
3. Applying Support Package, Kernel patch upgrade, TMS configuration and Transport administration (Transport strategy), maintaining of operation modes and profile parameters, background job management.
4. Experience in SAP Backup and Recovery.
5. Mastery of the HANA knowledge including High Availability and Disaster Recovery.
6. Experience and deep knowledge of SAP system migration (DMO tool) and upgrades.
7. Strong SQL scripting knowledge, creating Stored procedures, troubleshooting performance issue optimization of the code.
8. Expertise with SLT
9. Expertise with SAP Data Services
10. Experience in SAP Sizing by using the SAP Quick sizer.
11. Experience in SAP data Archiving.
12. Integration of SAP HANA into different remote systems. Exposure to different remote access options in the HANA system.
13. Hardware, operating systems (LINUX) and networking connectivity required for the SAP environment.
14. Deep knowledge of SAP HANA in-Memory Platform core technology, including architecture, landscape design, installation, upgrade, performance tuning and system integration.
15. Elaboration of SAP release plan.
16. Experience in system refresh tasks, Client copies (local client copy, client export, client import).
17. Performance optimization and tuning: deep experience with SQL traces to achieve Performance Impact Analysis.
18. Early Watch configuration and analysis. Transport Management.
19. Automation of SAP basis tasks through different development and scripting approaches
20. Incident Management: Troubleshooting the issues from OS level like work process monitoring, checking logs, checking OSS notes, provide Performance analysis and suggest solutions to write the Root Cause Analysis.
21. Write Operational procedures.
22. Create Adobe standard documentation.
23. Provide On-call support during weekdays and weekends as per the schedule.
24. Certification in SAP S/4 HANA and OS/DB Migration will be a plus
