The City of O'Fallon, MO is looking to hire a knowledgeable and dependable Seasonal Landscape Worker . Are you looking for a position where you'll be working each day in the beautiful city grounds of O'Fallon? Our Seasonal Landscape Workers earn competitive pay with an expected starting rate of $17.55 hourly.

As part of our Parks Department, you will be responsible for assisting in the beautification and maintenance of City streets, parks and City facilities as directed by Landscape Division staff. Generally, your schedule will be Monday Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm.

As a Seasonal Landscape Worker, your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with responsibilities associated with Landscaping, which may include mulching, planting, mower and cleaning up shrubs and litter
• Other duties as assigned
  

We're looking for someone who is comfortable operating motorized equipment such as zero turn mowers, string trimmers, and blowers. This person must also be willing to get dirty and/or wet while they're on the job.

Requirements include:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• The ability to lift and carry 50 pounds 100 feet
• The ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Possess a valid Missouri driver's license
• Have the ability to work a Monday through Friday 7:30 - 3:30 pm schedule
• The ability to withstand weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, snow, etc.
