Job Title: Plant Maintenance Technician III

Department: Plant Ops Maintenance and Repair

Reports To: Plant Maintenance Manger

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Completion of all work orders via CMMS
Perform both emergency and corrective action repairs.
Prepares both building and processing equipment for season start-up and shut down.
Be able to work a minimum of six days per week and 12 hours per day. Weekend work is required.
Read equipment O&M manuals and electrical schematics.
Assist with operational support on equipment and coordinates parts and repairs with the Maintenance Coordinator.
Train personnel in the correct manner to perform and complete daily, monthly quarterly, semi-annual and annual PM’s.
Fabricate material and come up with corrective solutions to resolve problems.
Maintain communication with Maintenance Manager, Plant Managers, Operations Supervisors and Maintenance Coordinator.
Supervises and manages time effectively with no supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS

5-8 years of maintenance in a food grade industrial facility preferred.
Electrical and troubleshooting experience 5-8 years’ experience with certifications of courses completed.
Ammonia Refrigeration, HVAC, Industrial Ice Machines, and Boiler experience required.
Knowledge of electronic circuitry, PLC’s and VFD’s
Willingness to further education with both outside training courses and hands on training on equipment.
