Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Pattern Maker with experience in women’s woven and knits to join our team. Someone who has a real passion for construction and enjoys this line of work. As a Senior Pattern Maker, your primary role will be dedicated to creating size-inclusive, well-fitting, and high quality garments. Ideally someone who enjoys apparel, patterns and solving construction puzzles is highly desired.
Key Responsibilities:
Create Patterns based off photos, sketches, or reference samples.
Pattern adjustments to existing patterns
Executing patterns from 1st proto through production for all private brand categories
Lead fittings and work closely with the design team to execute fit intent
Develop fit blocks, construction standards, and quality guidelines for multiple brands
Manage workflow based off the company calendar
Guide/Manage in house sample sewers, Team of 2 as well as other pattern makers either in house or contractors
Monitor and contribute to the accuracy of all tech packs including POMs, BOM, Construction Callouts and Spec Changes
Join the cross-functional teams in all pass off meetings to ensure all garment specifications are communicated effectively
Proven experience as a Senior Pattern maker with a minimum of 10+ years experience.
Proficiency in using MS Office, Adobe Illustrator, and PLM systems
Tukatech Experience Required
Activewear Experience a plus
Detail-oriented with a keen eye for fit accuracy and precision.
Bring expertise in textiles, pattern making, grading, and construction
Knowledge of garments specs and grading
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
The job will be on-site M-F.
