Senior Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Manager

We are seeking a Senior Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Manager to lead the development and implementation of an RPA strategy. The role involves deploying and managing automation solutions, assessing automation opportunities, building business cases, and planning the RPA roadmap to optimize operational efficiency. The Senior RPA Manager will collaborate with the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) to secure necessary resources and ensure the smooth integration of RPA solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

RPA Strategy Development:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive RPA strategy for HHS, from initial deployment through to scaling and growth.
• Assess automation opportunities within the organization and create a business case for each opportunity, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

Roadmap and Operating Model:

• Plan the automation roadmap, defining phases of deployment, scaling strategies, and resource requirements.
• Determine the optimal operating model for RPA within the government framework, balancing efficiency and effectiveness.

Collaboration and Resource Management:

• Work closely with the HHS Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) to ensure the RPA program has the necessary resources and support.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and IT teams to ensure alignment and integration of RPA solutions.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

• Constantly monitor RPA implementations to identify and address chokepoints that may impact system performance and disrupt workflows.
• Implement solutions to mitigate issues and ensure that RPA solutions operate efficiently and effectively.

Reporting and Communication:

• Provide regular updates and reports on RPA program progress, performance metrics, and any identified risks or issues.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and leadership to keep them informed about RPA initiatives and outcomes.

Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in robotic process automation management, including strategy development, deployment, and scaling.
• Proven experience in business case development and roadmap planning for RPA solutions.
• Strong expertise in RPA technologies and implementation strategies, with a focus on optimizing performance and minimizing disruption.
• Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working with CIO offices and other key stakeholders.
• Ability to identify and address system performance issues and chokepoints effectively.
