Role Description

This is a remote / hybrid role for a Social Media Video Editor located in Chicago, IL. The Social Media Video Editor will be responsible for video editing, video color grading, motion graphics, and graphics work on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities Include

• Edit and enhance video content with  smooth transitions, dynamic visuals, and compelling storytelling
• Apply  color grading, motion graphics, and sound design to elevate video quality
• Optimize content for  various digital platforms and social media channels
• Collaborate with the team to develop and execute creative concepts
• Maintain brand consistency while bringing fresh, innovative ideas to the table

Qualifications

• Proficiency in  Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Experience with  motion graphics, visual effects (VFX), and audio mixing
• Strong understanding of  video pacing, composition, and storytelling techniques
• Familiarity with current trends in  short-form and social media content is a plus
• Creative thinking and storytelling abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
