Come grow with us and elevate your career! We are searching for an experienced Spa Director to join our Ocean Place Spa and Resort. Located on the Jersey Shore in the town of Long Branch, you will lead the team at the Ocean Place Spa. The Spa directly overlooks the sandy beach of the Atlantic Ocean. Established Luxury Spa, that is looking for the next out of the box Spa Director. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Spa Director to oversee the daily operations of our spa facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As the Spa Director, you will be responsible for ensuring a welcoming environment for both clients and staff while driving sales and managing operational efficiency. Responsible for managing and supervising all areas of the spa, including programming, services, facilities and staff. Coordinates the delivery of spa services, including salon, skin care, fitness and wellness, massage, program coordinating, reservations, reception desk and locker room areas. As a department head, directs and works with the management team and hourly associates to successfully execute all spa operations. Strives to continually improve guest and associate satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department. Duties

• Manage day-to-day operations of the spa, including scheduling, staffing, and inventory control.
• Oversee employee orientation and training programs to ensure staff are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
• Implement effective sales management strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and manage purchasing to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organized environment.
• Foster a positive work culture that encourages teamwork, communication, and professional development.
• Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly to enhance client satisfaction.
• Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales trends and adjust strategies accordingly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in spa management or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong administrative skills with attention to detail in managing records and reports.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and retail math concepts.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to enhance communication with diverse clientele.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and staff alike.
• Proven ability to drive sales through effective marketing strategies and customer engagement.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time In accordance with New Jersey State Legislature (New Jersey Legislature Bill S2310 Sca (1R)) which requires private employers with ten (10) or more employees to include a range of pay for all advertised jobs, promotion, or transfer opportunities.
