EXAM LINK: 3PBAU.PDF (ca.gov)Central Nursing Services (CNS) is accepting applications to fill a permanent, full-time Staff Services Analyst (SSA) position in its Central Staff Office (CSO). The position will function under the direction of the Staff Services Manager II and will work in close consultation with the CSO Nursing Coordinator, Supervising Registered Nurse, and Unit Supervisor.
Qualified applicants must be able to perform duties including analyzing and synthesizing a variety of data, preparing reports, following staffing procedures, working with residential Programs in the assignment of level of care staff, communicating with Registry staff, and effectively collaborating with members of Nursing Services and other hospital departments. Candidates should possess strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to utilize Microsoft Office programs and internal databases.
Applicants should be highly motivated, goal oriented and demonstrate effective communication and leadership skills. All qualified applicants, SROA and Surplus employees are encouraged to apply.
Working Conditions: In-person, rotating cycle schedule of three to four 12-hour shifts per week. Incumbent may elect to work morning shift (AM) (4:30AM-4:45PM) or night shift (NOC) (4:30PM-4:45AM), with a 45-minute lunch. Incumbent may be required to work on holidays and weekends.
