Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to join our stone shop as a Stone Installer. This position offers the potential for career advancement to a team lead role in installation.
Responsibilities:
- Install stone materials for various projects including countertops and fireplace surrounds.
- Ensure precise measurement and cutting of stone materials.
- Collaborate with team members to complete installations efficiently and to high standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures during installations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in stone installation is preferred.
- Candidates with a background in carpentry or working in a cabinet shop will also be considered.
- Must be responsible, reliable, and willing to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically able to lift heavy objects.
Compensation:
- Opportunity for a $1.00 to $3.00 raise after the 90-day probationary period.
