Pay Range :$18-$25 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift (5:00am - 4:00pm)
Training Provided: Will train on non-welding job requirements
Qualification Requirements:
- Proficiency in fabricating structural steel
- Experience in welding and fabricating stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel
- Minimum 1 year of welding/fabrication experience in the industry
Position Responsibilities:
- Lift, position, and remove workpieces as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Measure and mark reference points using a tape measure for layout purposes
- Load, stack, and transport stock and tools by hand or crane
- Prepare metal by cleaning and grinding before fabrication, welding, painting, or shipping
- Remove scrap materials from work areas
- Maintain cleanliness of work area, machines, tools, and equipment
- Operate overhead cranes safely and effectively
- Read and comprehend blueprints to execute fabrication tasks
