As we prepare for the busy summer season, we’re looking for a motivated and driven Summer Restaurant Manager Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in restaurant operations, customer service, and leadership.

Job Overview:
As a Summer Restaurant Manager Intern, you will work closely with our restaurant management team to assist in daily operations, ensuring that guests receive excellent service while maintaining high operational standards. This internship provides an opportunity to learn the ins and outs of managing a fast-paced restaurant environment while developing valuable leadership and business skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with overseeing restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities.
• Ensure all customer service standards are met and maintained to provide an exceptional dining experience.
• Assist with staff scheduling, training, and team coordination.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies and food products.
• Help manage the guest flow, ensuring timely seating, service, and food delivery.
• Address customer concerns and ensure prompt, professional resolutions.
• Support with daily opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and financial reconciliation.
• Contribute to creating a positive and motivating work environment for the staff.
• Assist with managing staff performance and provide feedback to improve team efficiency.
• Assist with maintaining health and safety standards and ensuring cleanliness across the restaurant.
• Support special events or promotions throughout the summer season.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or recent graduate).
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Previous experience in customer service or the restaurant industry is a plus.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Spring Mill Country Club is a private 18-hole golf course that is also home to Judd's and Jackson's Restaurant, a casual family-friendly restaurant featuring seasonal American cuisine. Our banquet rooms host numerous private parties including bridal and baby showers as well as weddings and funeral luncheons.
