Job Summary: The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and onboarding new employees. This role requires a deep understanding of recruitment strategies, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers. The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring that the organization attracts and hires top talent to meet its staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment Strategy:

    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for open positions.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and create detailed job descriptions and specifications.
    • Utilize various recruitment methods, including job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals, to source potential candidates.
  2. Candidate Sourcing and Screening:

    • Proactively source candidates through online platforms, industry events, and networking opportunities.
    • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone or video interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and fit for the role.
    • Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future job openings.
  3. Interviewing and Selection:

    • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
    • Conduct in-depth interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
    • Provide guidance to hiring managers on interview techniques and best practices.
    • Assist in the decision-making process by providing recommendations and insights on candidates.
  4. Candidate Experience:

    • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by maintaining clear and timely communication.
    • Provide candidates with detailed information about the company, the role, and the recruitment process.
    • Manage the offer process, including salary negotiation and reference checks, to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to employee.
  5. Onboarding:

    • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have a positive and engaging introduction to the company.
    • Prepare and manage new hire documentation, including offer letters, employment contracts, and onboarding materials.
    • Work closely with HR and hiring managers to ensure a smooth and effective onboarding experience for new employees.
  6. Employer Branding:

    • Promote the company's brand as an employer of choice through various channels, including social media, job fairs, and networking events.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as universities, industry associations, and recruitment agencies.
    • Create and distribute content that highlights the company's culture, values, and employee experience.
  7. Data and Analytics:

    • Track and analyze recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate source effectiveness.
    • Prepare reports and presentations on recruitment activity and outcomes for HR leadership and business stakeholders.
    • Use data-driven insights to continuously improve recruitment strategies and processes.
  8. Compliance and Reporting:

    • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
    • Assist in the preparation of required compliance reports, such as EEO-1 and other regulatory filings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Proven ability to source and attract top talent through various channels.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, employment law, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR technology platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
