The Tour Guide is responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction by learning and accurately delivering approved tour scripts with enthusiasm and professionalism, booking reservations, confidently engage and assist individual guests and large group needs. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.
• Guides patrons on tours
• Greets guests in a courteous and professional manner
• Understands and speaks to history, knowledge, and facts about the location
• Respond to customer questions and requests
• Responsible for the safety of tour guests
• Maintain professional demeanor and appearance

• Previous guest services experience preferred
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Demonstrate organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Able to stand and walk for long periods of time to conduct tours
• Experience with Living History and Cultural History presentations a plus

• Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 25 lbs
• Audition is required for those hired.
• Must learn scripted information for the tour.
• Script will be provided and will be followed for the tour.
• Training is M-F for 4 hrs each weekday
• Once trained- Guides work at least 3 days per week and occasionally work on Saturday on a rotating schedule
