Within J.P. Morgan's Private Bank, the Alternative Investments Group ('AIG') is a global collaborative cross functional team of experienced professionals including Investment Specialists, Investor Relations, Structuring and Middle Office support colleagues based in and outside the United. The AIG is responsible for the selection and monitoring of a diverse array of attractive alternative investment opportunities for Global Wealth Management clients. With over $115 billion of client capital invested across hedge funds, private equity, private credit funds and real estate opportunities, the AIG team brings a unique perspective to sourcing and offering alternative investment opportunities to J.P. Morgan's private banking and wealth management clients. The successful candidate/s will be required to quickly learn, understand and support as needed, the functions and services provided by the Alternatives Middle Office team.Job Responsibilities: Working closely with Investment Advisors and Bankers in the U.S., on new product launches and ongoing alternative investment opportunities. Review, identify and communicate any non-standard structural and operational issues to global Structuring team prior to launch of investment. Document procedures and process flows, and ensure they are kept accurate Assist in the development of training materials Provide support to the Investor community for JPMorgan's alternative investment products Support the review of client documentation including Subscription, Commitment, and Transfer documents, Corporate Action responses, Subscriber Information Forms and processing of tax documents Contribute to various projects related to Middle Office, administration and operations, including but not limited to compiling MIS data for senior managementRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills Bachelor's Degree Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems and to manage multiple tasks at once Flexible team player with ability to work independently Verbal presentation skills Advanced Excel and Access skillsPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Operational and/or Client service experience Experience in Asset/Wealth Management and Understanding of Private banking operations and /or JPMS operations Experience with Alternative Investments and/or Alternative Investments operations Experience interfacing with outside vendors (i.e. Custodians, Fund Companies/Administrators) and Exposure to international offices and procedures
