As we expand our digital presence, we are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to help us tell compelling visual stories and promote our brand across various platforms.
Position Overview
We are looking for a talented Remote Video Editor who is passionate about storytelling through video. The ideal candidate will collaborate with our marketing and creative teams to edit video content for use on social media, our website, digital advertisements, internal communications, and more.
This role is perfect for a creative self-starter who can take raw footage and transform it into captivating, on-brand content that enhances audience engagement and reflects the premium quality of our restaurant experience.
Key Responsibilities
Edit raw video footage into high-quality, engaging video content for use across various digital platforms.
Create short-form and long-form videos optimized for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and our website.
Add graphics, subtitles, music, transitions, sound effects, and motion design as needed.
Collaborate with the creative team to ensure brand consistency and visual excellence in every video.
Organize and manage digital assets, footage libraries, and project files efficiently.
Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing, social media, and digital storytelling.
Apply color correction, grading, and audio adjustments to ensure professional output.
Participate in occasional virtual meetings with the marketing and content teams to brainstorm concepts and review drafts.
Requirements
Must reside in the United States.
Must possess a valid U.S. government-issued ID.
Proven experience as a video editor (minimum 2 years), preferably with a portfolio of work in hospitality, lifestyle, or food & beverage industries.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent professional editing tools.
Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, frame rates, and best practices for different platforms (social media, YouTube, etc.).
Experience with motion graphics, visual effects, and sound design is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organization skills.
Ability to take feedback constructively and iterate rapidly.
Comfortable working independently in a remote setting and meeting deadlines consistently.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or related field (not required but a plus).
Experience editing promotional content for restaurants, lifestyle brands, or food influencers.
Familiarity with brand storytelling and visual marketing principles.
