Warehouse Lead Job Description:

We are working with a world-renowned manufacturer of building entrance solutions to help them identify a full-time dedicated Warehouse Lead to join their team! This position will be responsible for supporting warehouse services for one warehouse located in North Charleston, SC.

Essential Functions:

• Directly responsible for the upkeep, cleanliness, and organization for the Commercial and Residential warehouse
• Manage, schedule, and approve time for two or more direct reports
• Collaborate with Warehouse Clerks to inspect, label, and record incoming shipments of parts, equipment, and tools by hand and in computer to maintain inventory records.
• Sort materials using fork truck if necessary, to place on pallets, racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence or product code number.
• Prepare requests for parts, equipment and tools via requisition forms, phone, or email
• Load orders into truck via forklift or hand.
• Transport and deliver goods to and from designated job site.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Cleans warehouse and equipment.
• Responsible for physical inventory every year and periodic inventory spot checks
• Parts delivery issues (change location, missing shipments, etc.)
• Adjustments to inventory stock
• Complete RMA/RGA process for Residential and Commercial returned goods
• Additional duties as assigned.

Specific Knowledge & Skills:

• Knowledge of or ability to learn fork truck operation.
• Valid driver license and experience operating a motor vehicle.
• Microsoft Office products computer skills are required.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn Commercial and Residential door/dock parts and our
• computer system
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to work with and receive instructions from a wide variety
• of individuals.
• One-year or more of experience in a warehouse environment
