Job Description

Seeking a Warehouse Operator to join a client of ours in Houston, TX. We are looking to hire this individual to start on March 1st. This is a full time, permanent position.

As a Warehouse Operator, you will play a crucial role in our clients operations by ensuring the efficient handling and movement of goods within their warehouse. Your responsibilities will include:

• Sorting Packages/Merchandise: Accurately sorting and organizing incoming and outgoing international/domestic packages and merchandise.
• Moving and Packaging Pallets: Safely moving and packaging pallets for storage and shipment.
• Scanning Items: Using scanning equipment to track and manage inventory.
• Moving Pallets to Shipment Zones: Transporting pallets to designated shipment zones for dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Advanced Transportation Management Systems (ATMS) to manage international inventory and shipments.
• Perform data entry and maintain records using web-based applications and Excel.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Valid forklift license/certificate.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Advanced Transportation Management Systems (ATMS).
• Proficiency in web-based applications and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive and eager to learn and grow within the company.

Compensation:

$55,000 to $60,000 per year annual salary.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
