Summary We are looking for a driver with trucking experience to join our company as a Yard Jockey or hostler. You must be comfortable operating switchers to dock or reposition containers or other large items and be able to maneuver containers around the facility. Our ideal candidate follows all safety protocols and can work efficiently to ensure there is no traffic back up in the yard. You will also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on equipment, tools, and machinery to ensure they are clean and in good working condition. Pay: $17.00-$18.00/hr Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive trailer assignments for inbound and outbound
• Communicate with dock as needed when pulling trailers
• Communicate with dock when placing trailers in dock
• Participate in Yard Check
• Maintain fuel levels
• Safe driving practices
• Assist drivers as needed
• Maneuver trucks within the yard
• Assist with docking
• Inspect containers as necessary
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and tools

Requirements and Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License
• Prior experience as a hostler is a plus
• Yard maintenance or forklift experience
• Working knowledge and experience with warehouse shipping and receiving processes.
• Experience working with a temporary workforce.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Bilingual - English/Spanish
• Able to work flexible hours
