The Role: We seek a talented and experienced Deckhand.

Description Brief:

Dual role acting as designated deputy of the ship's security officer, undertaking the day-to-day aspects of security operations alongside leading the onboard water sports & E-Bike program. Responsible for the organisation, delivery, and maintenance of all equipment in both areas and the daily running of the onboard marina.

You must be a competent small boat handler with proven deck experience on super yachts or similar marine environments, and ideally bring a background in security operations. Professionalism, reliability, and approachability are essential, as is the ability to work independently while maintaining the highest standards of safety and guest service.

Desired Qualifications:

RYA Powerboat or Personal Watercraft operation and or instructor certification.; PADI Certification; STCW Ships Security Officer preferred, Designated Security Duties accepted.; Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats (PSB&RB) and Advanced Fire Fighting;

Desired Experience:

Proven Experience in small craft handling, preferably tiller steer zodiacs and RHIBs.; Experience working on deck on superyachts or other applicable marine applications.; Background in private or military security operations preferred.; Strong swimmer;

Required Documentation:

Valid STCW Medical with no limitations.; Seafarers Book of own nation or the Bahamas.; Certificate of COVID-19 Vaccination.; Passport valid for at least 6 months.; Ability to acquire a US C1D and or any other Visa if required.;

Operational Duties & Responsibilities:

Delivery of the Water Sports program where required by the vessel's itinerary.; Inventory and organisation of Water Sports equipment and storage space; Maintenance of the ship's water sports equipment, with the assistance of the deck and technical departments as required.; Delivery of the E-Bike Program; Inventory, organisation and maintenance of E-Bikes and ancillary equipment.; Other as Directed by the Staff Captain.;
