Job Title: EDM Solutions Architect

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 Months+

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled EDM Solutions Architect to design, implement, and oversee enterprise-wide data management solutions . The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in data architecture, governance, integration, and master data management (MDM) to ensure high-quality, consistent, and trusted data across the organization. This role will serve as a strategic partner to business stakeholders, data stewards, and technology teams, ensuring that the enterprise data strategy aligns with organizational goals .

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) strategy , covering architecture, governance, quality, and integration frameworks.
• Design and oversee data models, pipelines, and metadata frameworks supporting enterprise applications, analytics, and reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish data standards, policies, and best practices for governance and stewardship.
• Provide architecture leadership for data integration platforms (ETL/ELT, APIs, streaming) to enable seamless enterprise-wide data flow.
• Implement and manage MDM and Reference Data Management solutions to deliver a single source of truth .
• Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, etc.).
• Partner with enterprise and solution architects to deliver cloud-native and hybrid data architectures .
• Lead POCs and technology evaluations for EDM tools and platforms.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to data engineers, developers, and analysts .

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field .
• 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years in data architecture / EDM roles .
• Strong knowledge of data architecture principles, data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical), and metadata management .
• Hands-on experience with MDM platforms (Informatica MDM, Reltio, SAP MDG, IBM InfoSphere, etc.).
• Expertise with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Talend, DataStage, Azure Data Factory, etc.) and data integration patterns .
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data ecosystems (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Synapse).
• Strong understanding of data governance, quality, lineage, and stewardship frameworks .
• Experience with data security and compliance frameworks .
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills .

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing enterprise-wide EDM strategies in large organizations.
• Knowledge of data catalog tools (Collibra, Alation, Informatica EDC).
• Familiarity with API-driven data architecture and real-time streaming (Kafka, Event Hub).
• Relevant industry certifications (Informatica Certified Architect, DAMA CDMP, AWS/Azure Data Architect).
